Managing Director and CEOFriedrich von Kleist
Friedrich von Kleist is the co-founder, Managing Director, and CEO of PARATUS, an international group of best-of-breed healthcare IT companies. Since January 2023, Friedrich has led the company’s strategic growth and innovation initiatives, focusing on expanding PARATUS’s presence as a global leader in healthcare IT, concentrating on diagnostics.
With a background in private equity, Friedrich has extensive experience in healthcare investments, having served as a Senior Investment Manager at GREENPEAK Partners, where he specialized in buy-and-build strategies for healthcare and service companies. His career also includes roles at WMC Healthcare GmbH, where he engaged in healthcare due diligence and transaction services, and at Astorius Capital as an Investment Associate.
Friedrich holds a Master in Management from ESCP Business School in Paris, a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Kiel University, and a Banker Certification from Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA

Managing Director and COO / CFOJürgen Heilmann
Jürgen joined PARATUS in 2024 as Managing Director and COO & CFO. Prior to PARATUS, Jürgen was an Operating Partner with Investcorp Private Equity Europe in London. As a Board Director of five Investcorp portfolio companies in the technology and healthcare sectors, he collaborated with management teams to devise value-creation plans and implement growth and efficiency initiatives.
Before this, Jürgen held various executive roles with Beiersdorf, the leading global cosmetics company with brands like NIVEA, Eucerin, and La Prairie, including CFO and Head of Supply Chain of Beiersdorf in Colombia. Jürgen started his career in management consulting with Accenture and Bain & Company.
Jürgen holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universität Munich and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He also is a certified professional coach (CPC).

Head of FinanceManuel Geier
Manuel joined PARATUS in 2024 as Head of Finance. Before joining PARATUS, Manuel served more than six years as Head of Consolidation & IFRS at Korian Deutschland, Europe´s leading nursing home group. While in this position, Manuel also served as interim head of other departments, including financial accounting, banking, and tax. Starting his career in tax consulting, Manuel also held positions in management consulting, restructuring consulting, M&A advisory, and audit.
Manuel holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with a major in Finance from OTH Regensburg (University of Applied Science). He also completed a three-year tax apprenticeship program (Steuerfachangestellter), with certification, at Steuerberaterkammer München.

Legal OperationsKerstin Seibert
Kerstin joined Paratus in September 2023, bringing over ten years of professional experience in administrative and operational roles with leading international law firms and financial institutions. At PARATUS, she effectively supports cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Kerstin pursued her studies in Business Administration in Mannheim, Germany, specializing in Banking. She also holds a law degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, completing the university examination in Medical Law as part of the degree.

Business Development AssociateLisa Blubacher
Lisa joined PARATUS in 2024 as Business Development Associate. Prior to joining PARATUS, Lisa served as Assistant to the President of Finance at Chromotek GmbH (Biotechnology). There, she played a vital role in evaluating and adopting new project management tools, including the implementation of DATEV software and the integration of an ERP system, which streamlined invoicing and workflow processes.
During a significant company transition in 2022, Lisa took on additional responsibilities that included change management and stakeholder engagement. Her background also includes experience as an assistant for tax advisors and lawyers, where she excelled in client interactions, case management, compliance research, and delivering training sessions on regulatory updates.
Lisa holds a Master of Finance and Accounting from St. Gallen University.

Advisory BoardMarcus Geier
In 2022, Marcus became a member of PARATUS’ Advisory Board. Marcus is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with a deep passion for supporting quality-driven leaders in the healthcare and specialized laboratory sectors. As the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the ACADEMIA Gruppe, established in 2020, Marcus plays a pivotal role in guiding businesses through succession planning while preserving their core values, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit. Under Marcus’ leadership, ACADEMIA Gruppe has become a trusted partner in fostering long-term success, technological advancement, and sustainable growth for patients, employees, and practice owners alike.
Marcus holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Augsburg, specializing in health economics, hospital management, and corporate finance. Marcus’ career reflects a commitment to innovation, strategic leadership, and creating impactful solutions within the healthcare ecosystem.

Head of Group IT and CybersecurityMichael Willbrandt
In 2024, Michael joined PARATUS as Head of Group IT and Cybersecurity. Most recently, Michael served as Head of the IT Department and Head of the IT Security Committee at the state lottery company of Mecklenburg/Western Pomerania. In this role, he spearheaded several key initiatives, including IT modernization, digitalization, and cybersecurity projects.
Prior to this, Michael held various management roles in IT and cybersecurity at IMAGE Information Systems Europe, CENTOGENE, and the German military. He commenced his career in the German military, where he was responsible for the IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security of one of the Baltic NATO command posts for over a decade.
Michael holds a Master’s degree in Business Informatics from Wismar Business School and is also a certified Information Security Officer.

Senior Tender ManagerAlina Annen
Alina joined PARATUS in 2024 as Senior Tender Manager, bringing extensive experience in bid and project management. In her role, she is responsible for tender management, including the coordination of bid procedures, the analysis of tenders, and the development of strategies for successful bid submissions. She works closely with various teams and is a key interface between internal departments and external partners.
Prior to PARATUS, Alina worked as a Senior Bid Manager at Recare Deutschland GmbH, where she led bid processes, coordinated cross-team projects, and analyzed sales performance. Before that, she gained significant experience in technical purchasing at Sana Kliniken AG, particularly in the area of safety-relevant hospital systems, and was also involved in real estate project management. Her career began in sales management, where she acquired solid expertise in contract management and customer relations.
Alina holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management from Hochschule Wismar.

Managing Director, aycan Germany Dr. Árpád Bischof
Dr. Árpád Bischof is a distinguished leader in medical imaging and healthcare risk management, with over 25 years of experience. Since 2006, he has served as Managing Director of iQ IMAGE, which he co-founded in 2003, guiding its growth into a global provider of medical imaging solutions and advancing technologies that improve diagnostic workflows and patient outcomes.
In addition to his executive role, Dr. Bischof has been Head of Risk Management and Internal Auditor at iQ IMAGE since 2000, and also serves as Safety Officer for Medical Devices.
Since 2004, Dr. Bischof has applied his clinical expertise as a radiologist with UK Specialist Hospitals, specializing in neurology and radiology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Rostock, where he focused on these fields.
Based in Rostock, Germany, Dr. Bischof is dedicated to advancing medical imaging technologies while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in healthcare.

Rainer Anzböck
Rainer is a seasoned technology leader with nearly 30 years of experience in medical technology and software development. Since 2021, he has served as Managing Director for Development in Medical Product Technology at D.A.T.A., driving innovative healthcare solutions from concept to execution.
Previously, Rainer ran his own company for 26 years, specializing in software development and advanced technologies like Azure, IHE, and microservices. He holds a Master of Science in Technical Informatics from Technische Universität Wien.
Based in Vienna, Rainer is dedicated to advancing medical technology and improving healthcare outcomes.

Frank is a visionary leader with over 20 years experience driving innovation and operational excellence in the medical imaging industry. In 2003, he established aycan in the U.S., which has since grown into a leading medical imaging company under his leadership.
Prior to aycan, Frank gained extensive experience in international markets and strategic operations during his eight-year tenure at Xerox in leadership roles including, Worldwide Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager for Latin America and Europe, and Manager of European Field Operations.
Frank earned credentials from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Zurich.
Based in Rochester, New York, Frank continues to drive innovation in healthcare technology while fostering collaboration across global markets.

Tino has been a driving force at aycan since joining the company in 2004. With expertise in software quality assurance, Tino ensures aycan delivers reliable, cutting-edge solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
Tino holds a diploma in Business Information Technology and is a Certified Scrum Master, combining his technical knowledge with an agile approach to project management. An advisor to PARATUS and a management board member of D.A.T.A., Eduardo co-founded D.A.T.A. in 1995, spearheading its evolution into a leader in technology-driven automation solutions in the Austrian market. Over his 30 years as CEO, he guided the company’s growth, delivering innovative products that optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.
As a hands-on leader, Eduardo’s technology and business development expertise has positioned D.A.T.A. as a trusted provider of tailored RIS, PACS, and WEB solutions. His entrepreneurial spirit and forward-thinking approach have ensured the company’s success and adaptability in a rapidly evolving market.

Moritz Kogler
Managing Director of D.A.T.A. since 2025, Moritz began his career at the company in 2011 as a marketing assistant while pursuing his studies. After graduating, he took on the role of key account manager, contributing significantly to the company’s growth. Following D.A.T.A.’s integration into the PARATUS Group in 2021, Moritz was appointed to the executive board.
With a clear focus on customer satisfaction, Moritz is dedicated to offering high-end software that meets the diverse needs of radiology. Together with the PARATUS Group, he strives to deliver state-of-the-art, tailored solutions that enhance healthcare services, improve patient outcomes, boost productivity, and reduce costs.
Moritz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Earlier, he completed his studies as an industrial engineer with a specialization in operations management, graduating with distinction.

Alejandro Sicilia Suarez-Llanos
Since co-founding DB Soft, Alejandro has dedicated over 30 years to revolutionizing how labs manage information and operations. Focused on strategy and positioning, he’s played a key role in transforming DB SOFT from a pioneering local company into a leader in healthcare IT solutions.
Since DB SOFT joined PARATUS in 2023, Alejandro has worked closely with them to identify companies for possible integration, aligning with his vision to expand DB SOFT and contribute to PARATUS’s growth across Europe and Latin America.
A computer engineer with a degree from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, Alejandro seamlessly blends technical expertise with strategic leadership. His guidance has ensured DB SOFT consistently delivers innovative solutions for clinical analysis and pathological anatomy, building strong, lasting partnerships with some of the sector’s most prominent clients.

Leopoldo Vitini Manso
Since co-founding DB Soft, Leopoldo has been at the forefront of Laboratory Information and Management Systems (LIMS) for over 30 years. Leopoldo’s expertise as a computer engineer, combined with his deep specialization in healthcare IT and team management, has driven DB SOFT’s success in delivering innovative technological solutions for clinical analysis and pathological anatomy.
Under his leadership, the company has partnered with some of the largest and most important clients in the sector, providing cutting-edge solutions that set industry standards.
Since DB SOFT joined PARATUS in 2023, the company has strengthened its position as a benchmark in the Spanish healthcare market and aims to expand its leadership across Latin America and Europe.
Leopoldo holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Pontifical University of Salamanca.

Previously, Katja held leadership roles at SIXT, IKEA, and telegate Media AG, gaining extensive experience in process improvement, workforce optimization, and cross-functional coordination.
